Thread: SEO: Linking to self

Hey guys,

I have read somewhere you should link to self in first sentance/paragraph of a page. Sounds a bit odd.

I don't mind linking to another page of the same site, or could even link to further down the page but a link that reloads the same page seems pointless.

Whats your opinions / experience?

seems really odd but if some one has wrote it, its different so it must have some importance or logic but at the moment could not get an idea why
